Sound Games at Home

When you are in the car, waiting at the doctor's office, sitting at a restaurant, play all sorts of sound games. They can be the old fashioned name game sorts of things ("Anna Anna Bo Banna, Banana Fanana, etc), or tongue twisters. This website has a great list of engaging sound games that don't require much preparation. The purpose of sound games is to build children’s ability to manipulate and play with language.
